If you've seen any of his films (especially "Bowling For Columbine", "Fahrenheight 9/11", and "Sicko") than you know he's been dead-on about some issues, but also has been attacked as well.
Have you seen his films? What do you think?

I think he makes good documentaries. He makes conspiracy theories tangible. He shows the corruption.

Anyone that doesn't think Moore is a attention ? needs to read up on Slacker Uprising, that ? flick he released for free on the internet. Thank ? the Left replaced his wack showboating ass with some real intellectuals. Keith Olbermann on his worst day was still better than Moore.

hes both. above everything, hes an entertainer. but at least he doesnt come off as a hateful ? like the entertainers on the right.
-
the latter. he got away with telling half truths for a min

Word^^^^ it seems like for every truth he told he's skew something else to make it fit his documentaries..I still enjoy watching his Docu's becuz for the most part whatever subject he chooses to make one on, there really is a problem, but all of his half truths have got to stop.

I don't know. I watched Fahrenheit 9/11, thinking about just how bad Bush's 1st term was, there's a line Moore used by Bush himself, that the idiot couldn't even get right:
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
Now that movie came out right before the 2004 election. My guess is it was supposed to be a deterrent to Bush getting re-elected. And the ? somehow won.
Then, I watched another documentary that highlighted just how inept Bush really was: When the Levees Broke. I couldn't help thinking, "Wow. Michael Moore was dead-on about this dude." -
Both. He addresses real issues but does it in such a way that he needs to be the center of attention and his methods rely on forcing a POV rather than actually "documenting"

Like other have said....he's a bit of both. And I think it's necessary because otherwise nobody would even give a ? about the issues.

A mix of both
-
I would take him more serious if he wasn't such a fat slob.
-
Definitely both.
