? , you the one in here showing your emotions over some other man's opinion over your favorite rapper
Word, ? 's disgusting.
Such as your constant riding of my co-tail like Herbert on a paperboy -
? , you sound like that ? who got her ass beat by her man, now he in jail and you crying "? that ? !"

Objectively speaking, how is 2pac a better rapper then the ones the thread starter listed? Sure, his social views and subject matter were definitely on point, but what else did it?? Was he more lyrical than the other rappers? (No). Was his content multifaceted (No)? Was he a great story teller (No)? I think alot of people confuse 2pac the man (interviews, acting, poetry) with 2pac the rapper. He had skills, but not enought to be in a legitimate top 5 or even top 10.
People who are going to come in and argue, well he was a revolutionary figure, blah blah blah. You ask the typical 2pac fan what their favorite album is and they'll say All Eyes On Me...his least politically driven, least socially conscious album! SMH Speak on it and prove my statements wrong... -

biggie is overrated ...only two albums and he's the best ..yeah right ,tupac is the greatest rapper ever and the only rapper that's bigger than hip-hop

Based on what though? Answer that question to give me your perspective, if you don't mind -
Pac is this Pac is that looool that ? stays on ya minds! Continue tho ? funny
-
I couldn't rank Biggie number one. Sure he put out two great albums. But that's not enough to make you the greatest.
He just didn't put out enough material. Nas and Jay have had like 20 year careers. And they've had their ups and downs as artists. But they are both all time greats. Who's to say every Big album would've been a classic. No one can say that for sure.
And Nas and Jay both have more than 2 albums that can be classified as great/classic.
Big was dope no doubt but let's not act like he was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone. -
LOL @blackjack2012 I got a feelings for asking you to justify why Pac is "the best", "the greatest rapper ever" as you put it? I thought this was a forum where hip hop and other things were discussed and debated. As I suspect with most 2pac fans though, there is more of a default "pac is the greatest" dynamic going on. 2pac gets called the GOAT because people have heard it so much. All I want to know is what makes him GOAT worthy. Simple question that no one has answered. I wonder why.....
-
LOL at this guy...
-
Three classic albums in a row is why if he didn't get killed it could 4,5,6, classic
-
which three were these again?
-
PAC not overrated. He a true artist. he express his soul in music and touch every subject.
he have classic albums.
he influence many people and rap artist.

@PiffyHaze Can I ask a serious question? Can you name a classic verse 2pac has ever spit? If you can, would it be comparable to classic Jay, BIG, Nas, Ghostface, Dre 3000, Cube, Kane, Rakim KRS verses? Try to be objective and answer that. Not knocking 2pac or even saying he's wack, but to call him a GOAT or even a great in rap terms in absurd! Even the criteria you listed is kinda weak. You can use that same argument for Hov, BIG, Nas, and 300, no?
-
? you look like a ? ? ...take that avi down.
-
LOL I love it! No credible answer to thewhy you disagree to the thread so you start name calling! LOL Makes sense to me
-
@manofmorehouse
he have plenty more if you want me to go on.
-
@manofmorehouse i put him above the rest because of the message he stood for. Every one he listed are great but Pac would/could dominated any of them musically. He could take over their empire if he chose too.
-
You really consider these classic verses??? Gues we just have a difference of opinion

*Guess

he made hit em up. one of the greatest disses of all time. -
@ PiffyHaze Based on what though?? Read my argument again. I'm not saying Pac was wack or anything, but he doesn't compare with other greats. The message he stood for was outstanding, but that's one element of a GOAT. What else did he have?

we just have different opinions. all of the artist you named are greats. but to me, 2pac is an elite great icon just bc I relate to him personally. I feel his pain and words in his songs bc i live the life that he talking about.
tell me why he not does not compare to the greats?
