not the old people in my family

but all the people my age know

Why not just let EVERYONE know?

cause the old people in my family are super duper religious

backwoods country religious, i might get slapped with some holy water and called the devil

Do you mean senior citizen old (above 65)?

What about the people in your family in their late 20's-30's 40's?

You might as well express it and get it off your chest.

yea i mean grandparents an they brothers and sister, ? like that

i would be barred from all family events, im from the south b

    Sounds like fear there, b...

    Yes.

So you basically retort the exact same way you do with us on here? i.e. "Christians are arrogant as ? " thread.

Not so harsh with some, they're so sensitive they cry when talking about ? .

They do know I feel it's ? and I give them my reasons, it just ends up a big debate and it goes nowhere.

I refused to pray a few times at the dinner table. My mom made a big deal out of it. I don't say anything about it anymore. I'm not an athiest to try and change people or push my views on them i just don't have a reason to believe. No sense gettin moms upset cause I don't want to tolerate being quiet for 30 seconds while she talks to an invisible man in the sky. Really not worth it.

Yep. And I'm a PK, too.

I mean, I'm sure they are 'disappointed', but they respect it.

A few people know, but not everyone. Typically only those who are mature enough.
I may have a conversation about beliefs and religion/spirituality but mainly for practical purposes. I don't really debate irl like I do online. I like to keep my relationships with friends and family, associates and acquaintances in tact so my level of tolerance is higher. Online, I debate to learn.
