I think the biggest problem with this country is that people here seem to view themselves as different from those ”savages” that have always been in conflict. This country was built on violence and had consistently been involved in war.
That's calling a gun a ”peace maker.”
The Bible and gun are sitting next to each other on the same shelf but America sees nothing wrong there. Religion and guns, the tools to conquer and dominate. The same as those ”savages” but twisted and injected with righteousness. Somehow the United States has convinced themselves that their violence is necessary to deal with other countries; and the people have followed suit. Guns are a necessary evil to protect us from ourselves.
Who's the real savage? Not us, were different it seems... -

Yes powerful post this is what it all comes down to. America's roosters coming home to roost, as Malcolm X said. Doesn't make it right but a nation founded on oppression and bloodshed shouldn't be too surprised when so many of its citizens act violent themselves. They have a good role model in how our govt operates overseas. -
