Aye mi madre! You too? @dalyricalbandit. Lol.

The tubular of this plant is what is referred to as tiger nut. What is derived from it is what they use to make tiger nuts, tiger nut oil and milk. It all comes from a plant my dear. Relax. Lol.

Drinking plenty of water is one of the best and cheapest things you can do for your skin.

Water can also prevent headaches due to dehydration (most people are to some degree more often than not) and it can also improve your mood.

    @Miss K

Absolutely! Keeping hydrated by drinking plenty of water as well as consuming lots of water based foods is important.
Water and sufficient sleep helps keep your skin youthful and fresh.

The weather's super cold over here and to prevent my lips from getting dry I make a lip scrub from brown sugar, honey and olive oil.

Yes lady!! Thanks for your contribution. Brown sugar makes for a great exfoliant, coffee does too. Its antioxident properties rejuvenate the skin giving it a nice fresh boost.
It has the ability to revitalize cells, mend any broken, improves circulation and soothes any irritation especially in the winter with the cold, dry air we get.

    Coffee Scrub

    2 cups of coffee grounds
2/3 tablespoon of vanilla extract or oil
1/ 3 tablespoon of sweet almond oil
1/ 2 cup of cane sugar
    Splash of cinnamon

Mix these ingredients together in a bowl. Apply in the shower with your hands, rubbing in a gentle circular motion.

The cane sugar and coffee combined provide an exfoliating effect, removing deposit build-up and dead skin cells, While the almond and vanilla oil leave your skin feeling soft, silky, and smooth.

    Coffee Face Mask

3 tbsp. of used finely ground coffee
    A small glass of milk

Mix ground coffee and milk together, blend well until you have a thick and creamy paste. If the mixture is too runny just add a little more ground coffee.
Apply mixture onto your face and neck and smooth all over. Ensure you do not get any on your lips and avoid putting on your eyes. Massage into your skin and leave for 20 minutes.
Remove mask from your face, continue to massage your skin while doing so. Apply face moisturizer to damp skin as this will lock in the moisture.

**Another at home quick scrub would be to use Baking Soda.

    Keep it coming ladies.

@empress great thread..I always see the natural soap, but I'm nervous about trying them. It doesn't leave that dry, filmy, bar soap feeling does it? Are there any others you would recommend?

I like to make this hair mask from one avocado mashed up mixed with 2 tablespoons of honey . I'll heat it up for about 30 sec and apply for 20 minutes . wash and it makes my hair super soft.

Also a tightening/toning ? . Mix the juice from 1/2 lemon and 1 egg white. Mix for about 3-4 minutes and apply to your face . Let it dry for 30 minutes. Wash with warm water

Sea salt scrub ...super easy . Mix a cup of sea salt and 1/2 cup of baby oil. Let it set for 25 hrs. Apply to your skin and rinse. Smooth and soft skin all over

Have any of you natural ladies tried a mashed banana mask for your hair? My friend tried it and said it was really difficult to come out.

I was wondering is there something special you need to add to prevent this.
