Sucks it had to be you broham. I had it last year and took it to specialist who couldn't do anything about it either.

Only way I fixed my pc was to pay the fine with my debit card. It was a one off so just make sure you pay before you catch CIA.

All you have to do press f3 several times when you turn your computer on ( or unplug your computer when it starts to come on). After you do this you should see a bunch of characters and number flashing up and down the screen. once it stops click on Safe Mode With Networking. This will reboot your computer in a safe mode. Assuming you have a microsoft operating system go to the microsoft help desk and type in how to get rid of malware/fbi/money pack/extortion virus. You can then download the free software. This will get rid of most of the virus. The help desk will advise you to download windows defenders software from a seperate computer that's not infected onto a cd or disk. You will then need to insert the cd into your infected computer to get rid of the virus completely.

I literally had this happen to me two days ago, there's a new version where it won't even let you get to your home screen in safe mode to do a system restore, it keeps restarting. Luckily the steps below helped me out.

The steps below work the best because you don't need to download any software or use any usb keys. It's similar to what numbaz...80's baby did, except it also works for people who are still using Windows XP who don't have the computer repair option.

    1. Reboot your computer into Safe Mode with Command Prompt. To do this, turn your computer off and then back on and immediately when you see anything on the screen, start tapping the F8 key on your keyboard.

    2. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, select Safe Mode with Command Prompt and press Enter on your keyboard.

Note: This next step is a bit tricky because you might have to enter it quickly otherwise your computer will shutdown and restart.

3.At the command prompt, type rstrui.exe and then press ENTER. Alternatively, if you are using Windows Vista, 7 and 8, you can type: C:\windows\system32\rstrui.exe , and press Enter. And if you are a Windows XP user, type C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, then press Enter. Note: I have xp and the first one worked for me.

    4. System Restore should start, and will display a list of restore points. Try using a restore point created just before the date and time the ICE Cyber Crime Center lock screen virus has infected your computer. Try to go at least a few weeks back. Then delete any ? you might have downloaded recently.
