As you know or dont know, last year I bought a 2003 cadillac seville sts....CASH
no problems and overall didn't really have major issues. (it was a money move that payed off)

Now I currently own said cadillac and 2005 chevy monte carlo and Im looking to move up to the next level by trading in both cars towards something luxurious yet durable.

Any years or models you can suggest will be great
(I have a kid so no coupes)
Price range is a not a issue but I'm not tryna buy a car when I couldve put a down payment on a house(doing that later this year as well)

So acura, bmw, lexus, benz, audi, infiniti?
(no range rover, vehicles are asinine to me)

Lexus, albeit boring, would be your most reliable.
    Acura and Infiniti following up..
    Lexus GS430 V8 or GS350 V6

Agree with b00kie about Lexus being your best best for reliability. The new GS is an amazing car...and I am not a Lexus fan by a long shot.

A used $50k car for $25k is still better than a new $19k Altima

BMW will not be as reliable and will eat u up.

How big of a car u want?
2005-07 Acura RL go for cheap now. I hate the way the newer ones look.

2004 Infiniti q45 big body. V8 monster. All less than $20k

    2006-2010 Infiniti M35 & m45 can be had for $15-30k

Well it depends on how many miles are on it and what model of Altima. With a new car you have a warranty and a lot of the newer cars have the features older luxury cars used to have.

I'd look at the RL and M35...great cars.

IMO.. If you cant afford at least the certified pre-owned cars dont bother with a "luxury" vehicle because that maintenance damn sure isnt luxury

Just buy something that is affordable for you with a good warranty

B00kie hit it on the head... if you want trouble-free luxury... Lexus/Infiniti/Acura is your best bet... I've had or have family members that have had all of these brands and none of us EVER had a problem with the cars. If you can afford the extra 2-3k go CERTIFIED... it's basically buying a used car with new car warranty benefits... Lexus and Infiniti treat you like a new customer with their cert pre-owned cars.

In terms of driving feel.. Infiniti is the sportiest of the bunch (check the M), Lexus is numb and boring but filled with most stuff you pay extra for in a Benz and Acura splits the middle of the 2 the only diff being that Acuras are FWD which is ASS to me.

best bet is to hit your local Infiniti/Lexus/Acura dealers... they'll definitely have what you're looking for and you should be able to get a deal on a 3-5 year old ride in the 36-50k mile range.

i see old people ride them tho, not many young

MKZ = Ford Fusion, but uglier and with "luxury" appointments. The Mazda 6 is also based on this platform.

BMW? 3 Series would probably be in your immediate range.

lexus ls 430 will be more affordable. the infiniti m37 is mroe roomier, but the 37 is just as good and lighter. if you need all weel drive get the x.

I went upscale and got me a fully loaded black on black 2011 Avalon. I'm very happy with it minus snow days.

mercedes e class bluetec may also be another option to look at closely if you got that guapo.
