There have been a string of actors who were on a hot run that jus fell into redbox oblivion

How could Adrien Brody got from an Oscar to doin an IFC movie
How did Jamie Foxx go from an Oscar to playing bit parts in everything.
And the infamous king of the redbox himself,,,,, Cuba Gooding Jr
Since 2006, this man has starred in 15 direct to dvd movies

Proly a combination of them having saying power in the industry and what projects they choose. I always thought Cuba was corny. I saw him in an action movie doing Van Damme type spin kicks and couldnt believe it

Never thought Kilmer was a headliner, but always good in some recent stuff. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Bad Lt, Deja Vu, and one of those movies with 50 was good too. Probably was the best Doc Holliday in any movie too. Soon as he gets the starring role though, we get stuff like The Saint or Red Planet.
Eddie..started doing all them kids movies and it was a wrap. -
Eddie Martin fell off afte Nutty Professor 2:The Klumps. after dat movie it was weak movie.

Winning an Oscar is a kiss of death for most actors if you notice. Jamie was killing up until his Oscar win. Same for Halle Berry. Denzel just seems ? immune. Hell, I can't even remember the white cats who win, but they do the same thing: get one and fade into oblivion.

Maaaaan it pains me to post this but.....
^^^ still one of my favorite movies ever, I can watch that movie like it's still the first time it never fails LOL
When was the last time Eddie Murphy had a hit movie ? Now this ? gettin clowned on by Rocsi of ALL broads SMMFH. I can't even pinpoint where he went wrong, it just hurts my heart fam.....
U got a point, Eddie hasn't had a hit movie since Dreamgirls but, I will say that some of the movies he point out have been decent movies that I can watch with my wife and kids.
My daughter loves Norbit and The Shrek movies, my wife loves Tower Heist, we like Daddy Dare Care and Imagine That as a family and me and my wife like A Thousand Words.
It seems like he is catering to family movies more then the old Eddie movies, he is still making money but, he is doing it thru family movies now.

What Eddie needs to do is stand up again. Then do another real comedy movie with an all black cast like he used too and have Arsenio in it. Last real one I seen him in like that was the movie Life.
