Bane Vs Joker.....which Villian is the most menacing?

Ok only just watched Dark Knight Rises....One thing I thought was dumb was Bruce Wayne has become a recluse and Batman took the fall for Harvey Dent's crimes so he has been gone to....so suddenly Bruce makes a public appearence and then all of sudden Batman returns and nobody in Gotham City figured Bruce = Batman?
Anyway...I thought Bane was a scary ass villian and had Batman near death. So which villian was worse?
Take into account the actors that played the villians...Heath was a beast as the Joker and Tom Hardy must have doubled his weight mass to play Bane.

    But Bane is capable of this type of fuckery, but also trained to beat you to death....and he had up Batman like he was nothing...

    I wouldn't fight none of them nigz hand to hand either.

    Punisher would've been handled joker.

    Yea I'ma go wid Bane, he had Batman up and also the whole of Gotham....locked the Police in the sewers....and trained by Ra's al Ghul. His power is crazy....

    Wouldn't mind seeing a scrap between Bane and the Hulk....lol

    This isnt even close...Joker is "Menace" personified. Its an all out attack when it comes to Joker...mental, emotional, physical, sensory...dude could drop 30 bodies in 30 days.

    not voteing because both can be equally menacing. bane is menacing because of brawn and tactics . he had the same training as batman and can anticipate his moves and has enhanced strength . joker is menacing in the mental category because he's just out there. you never know what to expect with him. he goes for your weaknesses and ? with what you love the most. both likes to use explosives. both have an army or henchmen. both has held gotham hostage in a grip of fear.

    The comic book version Batman caught it kinda worse because Batman had to round up riddler, Penguin, Joker, and all those villains he ever fought over a span of 6 months after a jail break so Batman was tired as ? when Bane showed up at the Batcave and gave him the Biz. They set the fight up in the movie a little different with cat woman leading him to Bane.

    Joker doesnt give a ? . His own team is expected to be killed by him. Hes unpredictable which makes him 100% scarier imo.
