I wouldn't say it was garbage. It was cool. They just shouldn't have rebooted it with the same back storyline so soon.

They tried to combine way too much information in a chopped up and re-written form to force the Peter/Mary Jane story line. That was the main issue with the movies to me -
I went into the movie with thoughts it was gonna suck. I was surprised at how much i enjoyed it. Was nowhere near my fave superhero movie but i thought it was good. Better than the Sam raimi ones. I just didnt like The Lizard too much. Next one is gonna have multiple villains tho. So far it sounds cool. Especially with Gwen Dying in it.

The 1st two Toby versions was good imo. The 3rd...no. I'm disappointed that they didn't go wit the 1st green goblin costume while they were in production. Dunno if anyone of y'all saw the vid for it, but it was waaaaaay better that the one they chose for the movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man version was good. I was more glad they chose the Lizard as the villian. But the one villian who needs a remake, and that VENOM! Topher playin that character was a big mistake imo. -

The Toby ones where garbage bc Peter was a complete cornball and had all these lame lines in it. I liked the new Spider-Man and always hated the old one.

Garbage? I was one of the people that was skeptical about the movie because I thought a reset so soon was stupid, but it wasn't bad at all. In fact I know quite a few people that didn't even like the first trilogy that liked The Amazing Spiderman.
And why do people keep referencing those criticism videos. I can't even figure out whether they are supposed to be taken seriously or not. On one hand it's hard to take them serious because about 75% of the things they point out are stupid and not even worth acknowledging. I can't see them being taken as funny because...well they aren't funny. -
Tobey Mcguire's spider-man/peter parker was likeable. This dude was a ? and an ? trying too hard to be funny
EDIT: Plus I didn't know whether this ? was a genius or not
