    Yea me and my homeboy was just talkin about MikoGrimes

    But we still need some defensive help. The draft better be DE, DT, LB, and CB at least. From what ive seen we have about 3.4 mil left in cap space after resigning Gonzo(50/50 bout that) and they expect that to be used for the draft picks. I swear if we can get bout 2 vets for that D we might be str8. Need to bring Abe back.

    I think the ether they servin' miko might push Grimes out unfortunately. Remember, he don't come home to falcon fans everyday, he gotta come home to that bish.     True. But remember, he's from the New England regime. They didn't start spending on defensive players until he left.

    Two reasons we didn't play in the super bowl...

    1. No run game to put away games with leads (a problem we had ALL year.)

    2. No pass rush to go after QBs trying to come back on us with a lead (another problem we had ALL year.)


    We're going to put up 25-30 points every game with this offense. But in the late 3rd Qtr we need a run game to move the chains safely and keep the clock moving, and a pass rush to go after these desperate QBs (who have to pass to come back.)

    Wouldn't be surprised if our first two picks were D-linemen.

    Dream scenario for me

    -Move some money around for Dumervil and sign a couple of low salary deals (Osi/Freeney, Dansby) then get another DB in the draft (Trufant/Rhodes etc)


    But the most likely scenario is that we sign a pass rusher, re-sign Miko and draft a DE in the 1st

    Yea, I think we get one vet DE, cheap vet LB like Dansby.

    I'm not sure what's going to happen @ CB or the draft.

    If we keep the same draft order I think we should go...

    1st rd - DE

    2nd rd - DE

    3rd rd - CB

    4th rd - RB/WR/KR (Ace Sanders would be my dream pick right here.)

    5th rd - DT

    6th rd - LB

    7th rd - G


    But I got the feeling Dimitroff got another draft trick up his sleeve.

    I would take Dansby. Dude had bout 100 tackles last year. With a ? up arm. Id take Ace Sanders too, im still salty bout that SC game too....

    We sign a DT and CB before the draft and I think it should go something like this.

    1st) DE

    2nd) LB

    3rd)DE

    4th) DT

    5th) CB

    6th)RB/WR/Return Specialist

    That's all you need to remember. Those are the last two defending Free Agency champions. Combined 2012 record = 10-22.

    One of these teams that "look" like they're rebuilding with new coaches, young rosters might surprise. (Chiefs, Titans come to mind)

    We proved in the playoffs that we can hit ANYbody in the mouth, all we need to do is learn how to nurse leads. And you do that by improving run game and pass rush. We're halfway done with that.

    Damn. Gotta fix this or end up like the Colts from last decade.This team can win at least a couple chips

    With Ryan being only 27, Julio 23, Spoon 25, Willymo 27, etc, I expect us to be a legit contender for at least the 5-8 years depending on the cap and drafting (which dimitroff is a genius at.)
