But MvC3, Bayonetta, SF4 and CoD4 are better on the Xbox.

    Pathetic, Sony.

MVC3 is better on PS3, SF4 is 1 frame faster on 360 but its faster than arcade, PS3 is closer to arcade than 360 version is

Can I just buy this one outright...or do I need to play the other ones?

You can just buy this one. All of them have a different un-related story. Bioshock 2 isn't a sequel to the 1st game, they just take place in the same area.

I'm hearing this is super good.

I watched 40 minutes of a play through, slow start but looks promising. The landscaping and architecture looks beautiful.

    I'm playing through now.

This game is overrated. It's good, but not THAT good.

Far Cry 3 > Bioshock Infinite

It's dope. I beat it not too long ago. The story is nice even if it undoubtedly has holes. I haven't gotten the chance to play the DLC though. I might go back and get that eventually.

I thought the ending was really good even though its kinda plot holish.
Basically, the physics of that universe is that whenever a person makes a decision, another universe where the opposite choice was made is created. So in the past DeWitt chose to be baptised and eventually came to be Comstock. However, that created another universe where he refused to be baptised and went on to have Anna, who Comstock later stole. In the ending, Booker agreed to be baptised and then let the girls ? him to prevent himself from becoming Comstock leaving only the timeline where he chose not to be baptised.

I understood it, but the story had way too many plot holes

I liked this game but it is overrated. The story premise is great and interesting but if you really dig into the events of the game and dissect them, you'll realize it's very poorly executed and a lot of aspects of it make no sense. But I will say the presentation in this game was amazing, top-notch. it seems like I'm one of the few people who actually liked the combat as well, even though it was dumbed the ? down from the first Bioshock's.

As will any story involving multiple universes and/or time travel. You just have to accept that and take it for what it is.
