New Jack City was probably the best. Ice-T saying "I wanna ? u so bad my ? hard." Was the biggest NH moment in any movie I've ever seen considering the context. -

i like above the rim. but you were saying it was better than the other movies when it's not, to me at least.
It's better than every movie in that list besides boyz in the hood, which is the goat hood movie -

Boyz n the hoodI like Boyz in the Hood best in my opinion it gave birth to those hood movies.
I heavily ? with Jason's Lyric too I thought that movie was underrated as ? .
Guess ? didnt really ? with it as much though because it had a little bit of a love story behind it.
I still thought it was still a very well written movie.
Menace II Society was straight to but its plot seemed a little erratic and all over the place in parts.
I also liked South Central, the original Friday, and A Low Down ? Shame too if that counts. -
Boyz n the hoodLackawanna Blues was a good ass movie too.
I dont know how many folks seen it nor do I know if it necessarily classifies as hood but it was good nevertheless. -
