My first thoughts:
- This is disappointing. Hopefully it's just an intro and the rest is better. I'm not even upset with Mos about this. He's got the charisma to be different and bring it to a track in different ways. And really, what else could he do with this kind of production?
Mannie Fresh provided him with a dud on this one.
Maybe Mannie Fresh should just stick to his formulaic trap beats. If the rest of the album is like this, then he's clearly out of his element.

Always lookin forward to anything from Black Dante, and that's all I have to say on this.

Mos vocals are contrived, Fresh's production is a bit busy but overall the track isn't as bad as ya'll making it out to be. Its alright as a teaser.

I saw Yasiin live the week before last
two of the songs he performed were new ones produced by mannie
one was ehhh and the other was actually pretty dope
this song was neither of these. -

first thing that came to my mind when the beat came on was Row Your Boat. don't know why. but uhhh i'm going to reserve judgment maybe the album needs to be heard in it's entirety because he really wasn't saying much.

This is different from Mannie's usual production templete and Mos Def is sticking to his script. It's cool...not bad at all.

I've been listening to Yasiin quite heavily so this fits right in with Yasiins vibe.
