Where is this from? That's some real boss ? . Coaches don't even get responses like that...

Powerful. It's amazing to think that with as dope as he was, there's a universal consensus damn near that he could've been twice the player if he had Kobe's work ethic. Guess NBA centers that played from 92-2011 are happy, though.

Lead 3 teams to finals appearances.

    Besides the Miami run

    He DOMINATED the finals

And yes he did his damn thing in Orlando but Houston as team was too damn much for the rest of them weak ass magic players.

Duncan is one of them "oh yeah him too" players. in other words, you tell some people to name the top players in the league and his name never is on the list until you ask "what about Duncan"? then them ? will say "oh yeah I got him too".

Duncan's overall body of work > Shaq's overall body of work

    Shaq's prime from about 99-04 > Duncan's prime

Where Shaq messed up is he was lazy and didn't keep himself in shape nor work on his game.

As great as he was he could have been even better if he kept himself in shape and developed a better low post repertoire.

Shaq was as great as any player for about a 5-6 year period imo then he started getting flabby and sick.

Duncan had a good enough skill set with enough variety were he could still contribute to his team and still does Shaq didn't.

? Duncan is still a damn good player Id take him over a lot of younger guys that have great athleticism but nowhere near his skill set or b-ball IQ.

Both guys are top 10-12 players to ever lace up a pair of basketball shoes imo.

Duncan more complete player... Shaq was more dominant

I disagree. He might have been more physically imposing and intimidating but Duncan not only could score in a variety of ways but is slept on for being one of the best defensive bigs in NBA History while Shaq was at times a liability on that end

Duncan was more dominant. Shaq never lead the league in rebounding or blocked shots and was terrible defending the pick and roll. Shaq was a beast no question but Duncan in his prime dominated on both ends of the floor

Shaq and it's not even close. Accomplishments are only half the battle.

Shaq would embarrass Duncan if they played in their primes.
