You would think if it took you 5 years to drop albums that it would be some mindblowing ? ? . What is the appeal of this ? and what is this ? grand delusion off thinking he is a top 5 rapper?

Count mixtapes and collaboration albums in those 16yrs.
Just because you came out with a group doesn't mean you have to immediately drop a solo.

Nosign on Kiss of Death being mediocre.. I thought it was a pretty good album..
Cosign on Jada's laziness though.. at least ? like Mos and ? can use Hollywood as an excuse, lol.. -
His second album was his best album to me and i don't give that ? above 3.5 out of 5

Mef has released 4 albums in 20 years. I dunno if Jada's mixtapes and collabs with RR and LOX can compare to Mef's outside work (the collabs with Red, Wu, etc.), but one thing is for sure... they are both lazy as ? .

You know what's funny? I was just thinking yesterday how my mans ? ' only has 4 solo albums & he's been out since 1993/1994.
But of course in his case you can count all the Wu albums as well as the Blackout albums but still 4 solo albums in 20 years is pretty bad, especially for someone as talented & well rounded of an MC as he was/is. Dude had/has it all.
Even when you look back his first joint came 1994 & then the next 1998, that's 4 ? years in between, b. That's alot. Then the next didn't come until 2004, that's 6 ? years yo.

I've always said he hasn't reached his potential... but son is nice... bar for bar... 16 for 16...
a prolific producer like Dre, Rza, Yeezy, etc could put together a classic Jada album just from random verses... -

Look at Bun B, it's easier to make music in a group imo. Can you hold down solo projects by yourself, that's what makes you a great mc.
Andre 3000 has always had Big Boi to bounce ideas off of, you can't give dude credit for ? that dudes like Pac, Nas, Jay,etc did by themselves. -
If I was taking five years on average to release an LP, it would have to be a groundbreaking effort. I could go into the maths on how many songs are on the albums and hence how long writing a song would take, but I won't bore folks with details. Mixtapes don't mean that much when you consider the same songs normally find their way onto a million tapes

etc
