Since I can't sleep (and technically don't have to...I'm a teacher off for the summer), let's just keep the party goin:
Greg Oden/Android 16
A big doofy-looking dude. Seems like he really could've been scary, but we never had the chance to find out. He got destroyed before we ever had a chance to seem him fight/play outside of one battle/a handful of games. Sucks, too. At least in the video games he he's a force to be reckoned with.
Speaking of Androids....
KG/Cell
Built like a machine. All his techniques derived from the best part of several true warriors' genetic make-up, making him the PERFECT weapon. Plus, he has the ability to fight any style/play any position using any one of the skills he has. Pretty damn good in his first form (T-Wolves KG/1st form Cell), but we see his TRUE potential once he joins up with other lifeforms. (Ray Allen & Paul Pierce/Androids 17 & 18). THEN he becomes nearly unstoppable, even manages to put the whole world on its heels and at his feet. Problem with this guy is, once that happens, he gets an even bigger ego than the Kobe/Vegeta character, even though he DID kinda smack THAT guy around for a bit (Super Vegeta vs. Perfect Cell's 1st fight/2008 NBA Finals), but all that trash talking and gloating he does proves to be his undoing.
It's also worth nothing that this guy is the driving force that pushes the LeBron/Gohan character to his 1st state of maximum power, and is the reason for the LBJ/Gohan's nearly unstoppable time. Hell, the LeBron/Gohan ends up beating this dude so bad that he literally dislodges one of the lifeforms from the KG/Cell character, and has that person jump to THEIR side. DAMN. (Ray Allen goin to Miami/Android 18 being knocked out of Cell) -
Phil Jackson/King Kai
Mostly known for being the one who trains the MJ/Goku character. However, we find that he's probably the best trainer/coach in the whole universe, even though his training methods are HIGHLY unusual, to say the very least. One thing about the guy, he's on a whole different path of knowledge, and it seems crazy as hell sometimes, but it WORKS. While the MJ/Goku guy certainly was his crown jewel, he's definitely worked with some of the other fighters/players in these universes. Plus, he lives pretty much alone on his own little planet, and is known to ? a joke or two. Nowadays, you can find him somewhat telepathically speaking to the world from whatever he is about the state of their respective universes.
Rip/Uub
When we first met this guy, it was sometime before the MJ/Goku character decided to hang 'em up. Then along came Rip/Uub, a shy, quiet guy from a very small village with amazing energy within him. MJ/Goku knew this, that's why he decided to train him for while to bring out his abilities. It worked. Even after MJ/Goku was gone, Rip/Uub continued to improve and became a pretty good warrior on the field. Not a HoF in either universe, but the progress that was made was unparallel to what he could've ended up if MJ/Goku never pushed him. -
Bynum/Nappa
Originally introduced as a sidekick to the Kobe/Vegeta character, we never really did wonder why this big ? took orders from someone half his size. Then we found out. After ? up one too many times, Kobe/Vegeta killed him/traded him and sent his ass to another dimension. Since then, he hasn't been seen on ANY fields of battle and kinda became a joke. -
Now, stay with me, cause this next character gets a bit.....weird, but it will make all sorts of sense.
Dr. J/Superman
In a totally different realm/reality (The ABA/DC Comics), THIS guy is the ultimate hero. He's known as the greatest of that dimension and proves to be just as great a warrior as MJ/Goku. They both are universally respected in their realms, they both were the face of their realms, and they both created their own brands. Doc/Superman is a little different. He's smarter, with a touch of grace and class, and really only seemed to do the right thing. Here's why he's included in this topic:
The dream battle we NEVER got to see. The debate we never got to answer. In their PRIMES (Doc was on his way out when MJ got there; I'd like to see '92 Jordan vs. '75 Doc), who would reign supreme? Simulations, dream scenarios, and other videos you could name has these heroes going ALL OUT in the most epic collision of super powers in battle.
Damn shame, really. This will have to be nothing more than the greatest "What if" scenario EVER..... -
Why Dr.J Superman?? Dude is a era-specific player

Quoted for emphasis.... I want to know who Wade is dammit!!! -
GOAT thread

thread is dope

I would put Wade as Piccolo..has history of fighting experience since Original Dragonball, still a good fighter currently but now plays background to developing characters that already surpassed him (Lebron, KD,ect)
