dope listening to the tape now ... only thing i would say is instead of putting yourself in a 90s production try to bring it to 2013 with a 90s feel ..... rappers in the 90s rapped over soul hits but the music didnt sound like the original .... it resembled it but it was stepped up and brought up to the 90s ..........
if he can accomplish that on some of the tracks this kid will blow thru the roof ......
a good example of a 90s flip but fresh for 2013 would be Drakes started from the Bottom or French Montanas Shot Caller ......

It started out hot and got kinda boring and I fell asleep. Granted I was listening at night. I'll give this another shake today. I don't think this is better than 1999.

It's alright 1999 was better. I hope when he drops his album the music is more on par or better than 1999.

So I gave this dude another listen. I only heard that 1999 mixtape like once and I thought it was aight I wasnt really moved by it. I wanted something else (no Yeezus, Born Sinner, Gifted) to listen to especially at work. I put this on and I still have the same feeling with dude. He's just aight to me. Had a couple of nice lines, I liked "Death of YOLO" and some other joint but I cant remember the name off the top but it was one of the first songs and it had a Jamaican chorus. Overall this ? was kinda boring. I dont see the hype behind this dude. Just an average rappin ass ? from Brooklyn.
