    SCC where out before Mobb Deep, I doubt they even heard of each other though tbf, it's not like they had the Internet lol

    SCC first album was the same year as the Poetical Prophets Unsigned Hype column in 1991, which means more than likely some of SCC album was probably recorded in the late 80's...

    I was always under the impression that the Mobb stole the Cartel members names. I heard of South Central Cartel before I heard of Mobb Deep but Mobb obviously had the better rap career.
