he was found not guilty by a jury of his "peers" (Not Trayon's)
The President getting involved in state criminal cases , because they didn't like the verdict
of the jury is not a wise move for the long term

Zimmerman did not acquit himself in a court of law
nor did he pass legislation that allowed a man of his "questionable" criminal background to continue to carry a concealed weapon
So no, regardless if he is or is not "one of us"

My gut feeling way before the jury was even assembled was Zimmerman would walk because the victim was black.
And my gut feeling now says Obama aint gonna do ? .
And as much as I hate to say it I dont think he should do ? . Double Jeopardy. The jury says Not Guilty. Trying the man twice (although they technically can under a different charge) would just be sum ? and open the door for blacks to be tried twice in the future. Everybody is for it now because its a black victim but what about drug cases, where mob laws are used to jail blacks for weed and coke possession? ? will cry foul then.
Let the streets handle it. If people are truly outraged then Zimmerman wont live much longer anyway. The biggest lie the government pulled on blacks and got them to believe was the American court system was the first and last resort for true justice.

I'm genuine..taken "aback" by the verdict
but I'm consciously not letting myself get to wrapped up emotionally into it
and I have come to the conclusion a lot people's "outrage" is indeed.... fraudulent

Chicago sees stunning 72 shootings over Fourth of July weekend
The Fourth of July weekend was an especially ? time in Chicago this year, where 72 people were shot over the course of just four days according to local media.
Of that 72, NBC Chicago reported that 12 men were killed. A 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy were also seriously injured in separate events, as was a 72-year-old woman who was reportedly shot in the ankle.
Many of the shootings appear to have been the result of gang violence and NBC Chicago noted that at least three individuals who took bullets over the weekend are refusing to cooperate with police.

Haven't seen confirmation from any reputable news source.
Only thing that CNN mentioned was that the NAACP was asking the Justice Department to get involved and was taking steps to get the public to sign a petition to put pressure on them.
So, nothing has officially happened yet in regards to the Justice Department taking any action.
Just wishful thinking at this point. -
