Dr J was everyone's idol before Jordan came along. He changed the game with his unique style of play and dunking ability. If you include Dr J's aba career he has 4 mvp's, 3 championships, 2 all star mvp's, lead the league in scoring 4 times, he 2 pieced Bird, and shot over 50% from the field for his career. He has some epic battles against other greats, including in the playoffs, not just the regular season. If Doc had better talent around him he would have won more chips, FACT.

But that documentary is real ? . I was a kid watching the Doc play and a teen when he retired, a lot of cats idolized him, he was that dude. By that logic, he would not have seen Bird, Magic,etc play either from when they retired. His list should be MJ, Duncan, Kobe, AI,etc from the mid 90s

Scottie set the blueprint for the Point Forward, he lead the Dream Team in ast. Not Magic or Stockton but Pippen and Chuck Daly said he was the 2nd best player on the Dream Team (behind MJ)..
