I bet all those "etherous" Bane lines seem kinda rehashed and forced now, right?

on the contrary, every time I've re-watch or caught snippet of his scenes

I realize more & more what a helluva job Tom Hardy did bringing the character to life
definitely appreciating the accent more as time goes by....lol

"Ahhh so you think the darkness is your alley?
You merely adopted the dark. I was BORN in it; MOLDED by it.
I didn't see the light until I was already a man,
and by then, it was nothing......BWLINDING !!"

that's cool if you liked Bane's lines, as did I. But the whole 'villian gives a ? -analysis on Batman and contrasts it with his own position in epic fashion' had just been done with Joker before.

Bane was gloating (and half-lying) whereas Joker was providing stinging commentary on what was actually happening. That's why Batman bothered even aruging with Joker as opposed to calling BS on Bane's whole operation. Joker's truths got to him.

Both Hardy and Ledger did a great job. It really just comes down to preference. I personally just feel that Bane's outright, straight to the point trillness throughout the whole movie, followed by an epic ? whopping that damn near killed Bats is my cup of tea....*side bar* Bane accent was dope as ? to me, the way that ? just said certain words was funny as hell. Like when he said "De-cadent!" on top of the tumbler giving that Dent speech was funny as ? to me. He'd make a hell of a Baptist preacher....Well, atleast from a vocal stand point.

I think this thread is another testament to the TDK trilogy, you have two villains whose on screen adaptations ? on any other villain in any other comic book movie.

We shouldn't sleep on Liam Neeson either. Mr. Ghul was dropping some gems on Bruce all throughout Batman Begins.
