Apple iPhone Event Scheduled for September 10th

At least one new iPhone will be announced next Tuesday.
Apple has just sent out invitiations for an upcoming event on September 10th in Cupertino, California, where the company is expected to unveil the new iPhone 5S and a low-cost iPhone 5C.
The invite includes the message "This should brighten everyone's day," which could be making reference to a number of things. Apple's iOS 7 is expected to roll out alongside the company's new smartphone, which features a much more colorful palette than previous versions of the operating system. Rumors have also hinted at new colors coming to the next iPhone, as well as a low-cost, plastic iPhone 5C, which will reportedly be offered in a number of colors.
While the star of the show will likely be the iPhone 5S, we wouldn't be surprised if Apple announces a new version of the iPad mini at the event as well.

i held out on my upgrade on the iphone5 because i wanted to see if there were any better phones on the market, but none of the droid ? really impressed me enough to go away from the iphone so yeah i'm still rockin the 3 and IT IS STRUGG-ULL-LIIING!! will absolutely get the new 5, i just hope its worth the wait -

They revealed that a while ago. Nothing special really, they just implemented a bunch of stuff to catch up with what other OS have been doing for a long time. -

They making a big deal about the new colors for the 5S. Unless you rockin' a clear case, nobody will know that you have the ? Gold iPhone because the front is all white just like the previous versions....

nah, i've never used a case on my iphones and i've had two. And other than the first one that i dropped and the screen completely shattered, i've never had any issue without using a case. -
the fingerprint ? is kinda bugging me out tho like thats just giving the police an advantage

Yeah rocking with my 5 another year. Lets see if the 4.7 or 6 inch units are true this time next yr when my upgrade is ready.

Is the fingerprint scanner something that anybody actually wanted? I mean I can definitely see the use of it, but is this an innovation people care about?

I wouldn't say that's the only difference. It has a difference camera, different processor, and is being released packaged with the new OS. It really just seems like the same kind of incremental upgrade we see in Android devices. Basically they are trying to compete with Samsung and their Galaxy S line.

That 5C starts at $99 right? I guess that's not a bad price given that the it should be a pretty big upgrade from the 3.

A7 thing giving it a 64-bit processor that isn't on any other smartphone and the camera is still...man ? it i'm going to just stop pretending i know what the ? i'm talking about as i rephrase this review.

been waiting to upgrade for 6 months man...Idk what to get....currently have the S3 been rockin since day one, Rooted with CyanogenMod

If you're rocking a rooted S3, I'd think you'd be better off upgrading to a S4 or Note 3. Regardless of the tech in the new iPhones, the OS will still be a lot more restrictive than what you're used to.
