Ok this should be a trill discussion, I want to chop it up on who were your top players since you've been living on this earth so in example for myself, I have only been alive since 1989 so I can only base it off players that have been balling since 1989, any player before my time won't be in my top 5 (like Bill Russell, Wilt, Bird, Dr. J, etc) and that goes for all of you to list your top 5 nba players since you've been born in your opinion... So if you've been alive while a certain legend was active or what not you can vouch because you were there to witness it, even if you were only 1 yrs old lol....

Year 1989

1. Michael Jordan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Lebron James
4. Tim Duncan
5. Shaquille O'Neal

Bruh... Jordan? really? Born in '89 and listing Jordan is silly.

    With my own eyes:

    Kobe
    Shaq
    AI
    Garnett
    T-Mac

LMAO! Jordan retired in '98. You were 9 years old. Watching something at 9 years old is not what ANYONE logical would call vividly. And Jordan on the Wizards wasn't too good.

...Unlike y'all fake clowns, I'll keep it real and state that I didn't really get into basketball or the NBA until the 2000s. That's when I took basketball serious as a player, and as a viewer. ? all that PC ? .

    Born: Dec, '81

Started really paying attention to basketball in the early 90s. So many cats from my hood in the league at the time so I had to peep it. Plus I was a childhood Shaq stan (and what?!)

    But this is easy...

    1. jordan-pool.gif

    2. Shaq
    3. Barkley
    4. Duncan
    5. Kobe

I remember hoopin' with Magic and Zeke on Bulls vs. Blazers and ? like that, but I had to leave Bird, Zeke, and Magic off because I can't really say I watched them closely in their prime.

Just because your mom put you to bed before the street lights came on don't mean other parents did that. Those games came on at 7pm.

The ? never said you had to be old enough to drink a beer while the player was in his prime.

He said if the guy was playing while you were alive you can list him.

? always wanna act like they in some exclusive club when it comes to having seen MJ play like there ain't no such thing as recorded games.

if i was making a list of best to do it. i kinda agree with the tc

    1. Michael Jordan (can't go too wrong)
    2. Kobe Bryant (mini mike)
    3. Charles Barkley (his numbers and style of play were something you had to see to appreciate, history will only treat him as a jordan victim)
    4. Tim Duncan (kinda cheating because he coulda been a top 10 C but instead chose to be the top pf of all time)
    5. Shaquille O'Neal (physically dominant and robbed of a hand full of mvps)

    by position
PG Isiah Thomas (pg that was impossible to contain)
SG Michael Jordan (1 on 1 nightmare)
SF Lebron James (a pf with sg/sf scoring ability and pg court vision)
PF Tim Duncan (matches up and abuses every pf from my era 1 on 1)
C Hakeem Olajuwon (basketball ? of footwork)

And they went off at 9:30-10:00 on a school night. You know damn well lil 8-10 year old's aint about that life. Parent's wanted yo ass in bed so Pops can watch the game and moms can play spades.

    In their primes:

    1.Jordan
    2.ab.Bird/Magic
    4.Hakeem/Shaq
    5.Barkley

    6.Shaq/Duncan
    8.Isiah Thomas

Ya i know but Barkley in his prime never got enough help imo, and Zeke imo is still the secondest greatest Pg i ever seen.
