I saw in a regular XD theater. Was great

Can someone explain to me why prof brand wanted cooper to fly the ship. He never successful flew a ship and actually has a family. While the rest of the crew had no family.

Because no one else had even piloted a ship, just simulators. And his accident was caused by an anomaly not pilot error

I seen this movie last night and overall I liked it. Matt did his thing I cant lie but I swear I hate Anne Hathaway so much in this. Basically she caused all this by not getting her ass back in the ship in time oh and her manipulative father withholding secrets about the mission too. But besides that the movie was worth every penny. the "Its necessary" scene was great btw

I wouldn't say "trash", but it definitely qualifies as a let down.

What was the story behind the original script? Did it leak? People kept talking about how the joker would have a big roll n ?

LOL. Don't even say that on the IC

Nolan is infallible according to these nignogs on here.

The Dark Knight the second film in the trilogy was the best IMO and that was largely due to the late Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker .. .

I was late in seeing this film. Nearly a month since its release but I saw it tonight on an IMAX screen. I had to 'cos the film was shot with IMAX cameras

It was brilliant. Well paced and visually stunning in some scenes

One of the very few sci-fi films that dealt with relativity, time, space and gravity in a basic form for the layman.. with family drama too

This film is gonna scoop the entire awards next Oscar's in technical categories more especially Sound Editing, Cinematography and Editing

Nolan's won me over again after that lacklustre Batman film..

    4/5

I enjoyed it up until Matt Damon shows up then it falls into a bit of cliche and 2001 rip off...

The science was sound and it's probably why I enjoyed it...

The robots were one of the best design in movie too, not lost on me that they look exactly like a monolith from 2001, good tip of the hat...

I suggest watching it, a lot of these space movies take a lot from it, as for holding up, it was made in 1968 with models and ? so you might notice it, but quite groundbreaking for the time...

    + it's Kubrick...

Edit - The pacing could be a bit slow when compared to modern movies, thought I should add that...

    Wasn't feeling Clockwork Orange
    but
The Shining & Full Metal Jacket are GOAT
