Christmas came early for one gamer after he received 29 PlayStation titles from a mystery secret Santa, who just happened to work for one of the world’s biggest games companies.

The Reddit user, who took part in the online Christmas gift exchange programme, asked the community for a new game – but little did he know his secret Santa worked at video games firm Electronic Arts

The user, Sinister-meow, posted photos of the festive haul on Reddit saying: ‘Ask for 1 game and get 29… jackpot!’

Sinister-meow received the goods on December 17 with a letter from ‘Santa’ saying ‘internet spirits were smiling when they put us together’.

‘Santa’ said he shared the user’s gift request with co-workers to put together a collection of games, accessories and merchandise for the lucky gamer.

‘I assumed it was a marketing move and I could appreciate that, they gave me a lot of stuff, so I figured it was on me to post it and give EA credit where its due,’ Sinister-meow said.

‘As he said in the letter he happened to work for EA. The company wasn’t selected as my Santa, he was. Just good luck I guess.’
