I'm cruising in my whip bumping some Pac when it hit me this ? always needed a feature when he had a hit. I'm wondering if he was just lazy or was he trying to bring some people up in the game with him.All I know is this ? doesn't have one hit (keyword for you IC ? is "Hit") record without a feature.

It's true that almost every 2pac song period like 99% of all of his songs had a singer featuring doing the hook for him. Pac couldn't do hooks that was his weakness but he played to his strengths which was rapping verses and stuck to what he was good at and did that well
That's why i'm a fan because he was good with the verses and emotions but yeah he couldn't make his own hooks there probably isn't another rapper that had as many singers feature on a hook than 2pac. -
Last week there was a thread sayin all pac could do is make hooks, now this mf sayin pac couldnt make hooks. Pac was the GOAT at making hooks.

2pac also never had a big hit on the chart where he did a hook himself. U compare that to hook specialists like Eminem, 50, B.o.B., Bone Thugs, Wiz Khalifa, DMX they don't do rapped hooks they sing
It's because rapped hooks don't really catch a wide audiances ears, the rappers that are hook specialists i name sing. Pac knew wat he was good at so that's why he stuck to rapping verses -

nah he's in my top 10 easily own more than just his death row albums i respect the fact he did at times do hooks but these hooks he did are not really anything that stand out, i just can't image another rapper thought lemme get 2pac to do a hook for my song

I heard these songs lol i just never ever found a hook he did catchy like thought wow this stuck in my head. 2pac to me was about verses with conscious ish but diverse in the verses he wasn't just conscious bars he could do the Gangster ish too
I think o/p just saying if 2pac was good at hooks he would have had some big hits on the chart where he did hooks himself rather than get a featured singer or use a sampled hook -
