Skyrim Coming to PS4 and Xbox One?
Get Ready To Dragon Shout Again!
Earlier on, the Besthesda website listed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for PlayStation and Xbox One in addition to the platforms it has already been released on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
The new platforms have since been removed. This may have of course been an error or a mistake ahead of an announcement at a later date. Either way, OnlySP captured the screen for posterity.
On a possibly related note, Besthesda has sent out an email teasing an announcement on January 12th, 2014. You can see a grab of the message on Reddit, though much of the speculation is Fallout 4 related.
We found out earlier in the year that Skyrim's development team had moved on and no further Skyrim DLC was planned, since production was ramping up on a new project. So if an upgraded version is in the works, expect it to be handled by another studio.
A release on Xbox One and PS4 wouldn't be all that surprising in light of Square Enix's move to release a technically superior version of Tomb Raider on Microsoft and Sony's new consoles.
IGN has contacted Bethesda for comment.

Most overrated game of last year too. It's not very good IMO.
