attitude era was good, but in terms of in ring and storylines, i think its a bit overhyped, ruthless aggression dont get the respect it deserves imo

at first i was rollin when someone mentioned genocide being a trash fed(czw/czw) fan and criticizing the allmighty attitude era

    but no,
it would be unfair to lock this thread

    that is his opinion.
he is still our brethren in the IWC.
does his opinion not count or deserve to be silenced because it is unpopular among us?

I get what GC is sayin......When you really look at the Attitude Era, what made it was Austin, Rock, Foley and a few others along with the sexualization of the female talent and toilet humor........The Ruthless Aggression Era was better IMO.......

I understand where he coming from though.

I think watching it nowadays is different from watching it as it happened.

Watching it as it happened was exciting because you never knew how far they were willing to go and it had a lot of shock value.

This. It perfected what the AE started and improved on it by having better in ring work.

    This is the truth.

As far as Ruthless Aggression goes it's the only era I ever missed as a fan of the WWE's product for over 25 years. I always tell myself I'm going to finally catch up with it but never do after always seeing nothing but praise for it on the internet especially since a lot of today's IWC got into wrestling through that segment of WWE history.

I just don't have the time anymore to be hunting down 5 plus years worth of RAW and Smackdown episodes on top of more than 12 ppvs per year. Especially when I spend my free time when it comes to watching wrestling catching up with the international scene, the indies and from a historical standpoint the territory days that predate my introduction to wrestling fandom (1987) and the RA era doesn't grab my interest as much as those do. The WWE Network should finally rectify this.
