Parker looks like the more complete player to me. He shoots better, defends better, and a better ball handler. He's a lot more agressive.

from a casual college ball fan point of view:
Jabari is more of a sure thing.
Andrew has more upside/higher ceiling. -
Their is a draft thread where this conversation is being discussed....

I don't see what the big deal about Jabari, I watched this ? against Notre Dame, Clemson, and they last game and the ? was like 3-12 one game, a dude on the other team was gettin at him and He was only gettin 8 and 7 points. Idk what you ? see in him or why an nba team would tank for him but he gotta show me some more.

Parker

Neither...I'm goin wit randle

Between the two though I would go with Parker. He remind of a more efficient Carmelo. Wiggins is aite, he reminds me of Evan Turner. Pretty good player but not dominating.
-
Parker reminds me of Paul pierce Wiggins is athletic and he will look better in the nba than he does in college parker is a better overall player.
-
Both players were victims of mad hype.Parker is way more polished I personally don't see what the wiggins hype was all about he isn't even the best player on his team
-
Parker's a lot better now, but Wiggins has the better upside due to his athleticism. Gimme Embiid over both them ? though
-
Embiid the goat
-
Jabari is better, but he is over hyped. Wiggins has bust written all over him IMO.
-
Parker skillset >
Wiggins athleticism will get neutralized when he goes pro. -

Parker is not a better defender. I play devils advocate a lot with wiggins/parker because everyone has thrown wiggins into the overhyped high school player who lives off athleticism category and he's not that. Parker is the safer pick, melo with less strength/polish. Wiggins has the higher ceiling and it's harder for him to shine on that squad. I'm not saying I would be mad at getting parker #1, just remember they said a lot of the same thing about paul george that they say about wiggins and they're very similar -

exactly. Theres a difference between ? who LITERALLY have only one skill and thats athleticism and players whos BEST skill is their athleticism. The majority of the elite guards/forwards in the league are great athletes. Wiggins isn't tyrus thomas

Wiggins ain't Bron or Blake tho
He's closer to Gerald Green -
Parker's slow as hell in terms of lateral movement, if he doesn't work on that he won't be able to guard NBA SF's

He's probably gonna end up guarding 4s for the majority of the game when he's in the pros. Theres only a handful of SFs he can keep up with. Plus he's strong as hell and has shown he can be a ok shot blocker. Btw ? this thread

Exactly!! Not to mention Green was a better shooter coming out of high-school than Wiggins.
With work Wiggins could be a great NBA player and maybe the better player of the 2 but right now Parker is better -
From what ive seen, id rather go with Embiid or Randle from kentucky over both these over rated cats.

Lebron greatest asset has always been his vision. You telling me Wiggins got that to fall back on? -
Man when I watch Embiid play it seems like everything he does is a fluke. Lol. Like ok that was a good play, but he can't do it again. Idk, just don't seem like he has a sustained skill set. I wouldn't take him overall #1 like what I'm starting to hear. I could be wrong.

I would go with Parker for sure. Wiggins has potential as well, but he's hasn't really had a dominant game since early in the season.
