“It’s also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It’s the closest to the photorealistic quality we are aiming at.” -Kojima
“It was clearly a bit more complicated to extract the maximum power from the Xbox One when you’re trying to do that. I think eSRAM is easy to use. The only problem is…Part of the problem is that it’s just a little bit too small to output 1080p within that size. It’s such a small size within there that we can’t do everything in 1080p with that little buffer of super-fast RAM.
“It means you have to do it in chunks or using tricks, tiling it and so on. It’s a bit like the reverse of the PS3. PS3 was harder to program for than the Xbox 360. Now it seems like everything has reversed but it doesn’t mean it’s far less powerful – it’s just a pain in the ass to start with. We are on fine ground now but the first few months were hell.”

See you on Titanfall when it drops. -

Infamous second son is running on 30fps 1080p, not all devs can make it 60fps 1080p yet

Infamous is my favorite play station series.

While I understand the point being made here, the ? that people go on and on about the most is the FPS count. You can't really make a comment on that using still images.
I think the differences are overstated too, but it's not like people exaggerate when they point out the differences. They just exaggerate in how much it affects the enjoyment you get from playing a game. -
Without a doubt on FPS. I seen the FPS comparison with Tomb Raider on both consoles. PS4 smashed the XBone. PC kills em both though.

this sums it up.

Super Mario 3D World is 60fps out the box on an inferior hardware architecture than Xbox One and PS4 same with Monster Hunter 3. End of the day it's not the specs but what the developers do with them. To me 60 fps is nice for the increased draw distances and lesser lagging but it's not a priority of mine. The game's fun factor is.

So judging from that vid, there ain't that much of a difference between the One and the 4...and the diff between current and Next gen is there but not really gamebreaking much

Pretty much; in the end it will always come down to the games and which controller you prefer...
