When a television show goes on hiatus, that usually indicates a period of several months as the cast and crew work on episodes for the following season. A hiatus doesn't normally require over a year and a half off air, but such is the case with Louis C.K.'s award winning comedy, Louie. Fortunately, there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel for fans in need of their socially awkward curmudgeon fix.
FX announced today that Louie's 19-month absence will come to an end with Season 4's debut on Monday, May 5 at 10 PM ET/PT. The 14-episode season will air two all new back-to-back episodes every Monday at 10 and 10:30 PM for seven consecutive weeks, through June 16.
FX originally ordered 13-episodes for the series' return, but creator Louis C.K. delivered a bonus 14th episode.
“Louis said he needed extra time between seasons three and four of his show because – even though Louie was the most critically acclaimed television comedy series in America – he needed to make it even better,” said FX CEO John Landgraf. “Based on the first three episodes we’ve seen, remarkably, he accomplished his goal.”

Only watched the first episode so far, but when that old lady was helping him into the cab I was dying.

Only watched about 1/2 of the pilot last year. Never went back, i have heard good things tho. Imma go back n check it out.

Yeah, they were making that ? out to be more than it is. The chick was making it seem like there is some kinda hidden agenda out there to keep fat ? down. It's nothing that complex. Lots of people just don't find fat people attractive. It's not that hard to understand.
And I still don't understand how he has the whitest kids known to man, but has a black baby's mother.

I'm not caught up with all the episodes (two more to go) but Louie is killing me with how passive he is. It took him forever to make a move on the Hungarian chick.

just the episode where louie stole the scales. It was a good episode... but not really funny.
I felt bad for the teacher he ? over. Louie was young and stupid and couldn't realize that the teacher was the real man, and the drug dealer didn't give a ? about him.
