The 'awaiting charges' is in reference to past tense ? . He was INITIALLY charged with XYZ and was released on bail while awaiting different charges. At this point, he got those charges and has been found guilty. Is the way I read it anyway.

I don't really understand why people fault lawyers. They don't make the decisions, they're job is to put up the best case for their client.

I hate to argue this point in a thread as despicable as this (based on those charges), but I think blaming lawyers is displaced.
Judges stay ? up and ? up laws keep getting made, BUT we don't blame those people - instead we point fingers at lawyers for taking a case ?

lawyers and judges are in the same boat....
i get the fact that they have a job to do, and i get that for some people it's about the money....
but in some cases they should make a judgement call to the greater good....

The judge is the one that decides the sentence, not the lawyer.
I just don't see the culpability of the lawyer in this instance.
Blame the dude (if he did it).

Woooooww. I live in delaware. Dude I no is on lvl 3 probation. He missed curfew once and he gets booked. Dude is in the gym with 100 other people cause there ain't no free cells. But this ? ass ? is walking the streets. ? is ass backwards

I keep telling folks the judicial system is all about money.
I'll never forget going to pay a ticket at the court house and the line looked like they was selling Jordans for the last time ever. That was just one day and it wasn't even 10am yet. My ? was like $250. Multiply that by 100 offenders, multiply the number you get from that by the number of days in a week. Now that's just traffic violations. And I'm underestimating this equation here.
The court comes down to who's getting paid, who's lawyer is cool with the judge, and how the judge is feeling that day.
There's a reason that probation bench moves like a damn assembly line. Public defender? You getting railroaded, them people get paid by the beds. You finna get pimped on that field swinging with the rest on the chain gang.
This dude rich, white, and his family got pull. I ain't surprised in the least. Bet this gets swept under the rug after while as well. -
Judge most likely got a good pay day. All 100s untraceable bills. Prob a few million
