Best Martial Art for Fighting Bigger Opponents?

Looking to build on my strength training with some sort of discipline
Need something good for borderline midgets
I was thinking of Judo but it seems a bit useless outside of competition

Forget that competition Judo, go find a true Judo school that teaches real judo. Judo is a deadly art form, with throws, locks, pressure point manipulation and grappling. Judo is the ? -

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. With this partial style you can neutralize and opponents size by getting him on the floor. You don't have to be muscle bound or extremely fast to be successful at it either.

Who cares about other students
In a situation where someone with 50+ lb advantage is trying to flex I need to be able to overcome the disadvantage

True but so those every marital art, he was asking an art form against bigger opponents and Akido is designed to use the other person leverage against them -

Almost all credible martial art can be applied to bigger opponents.Then again it depends on the martial artist.
In my experience though id put these up there..

I can vouch for the wing chun. I loved every minute of being able to use that inside fighting style at more than a few bars -
For your overall health and well being while learning an entirely fictional combat art it's really hard to beat jiu jitsu.

Boxing is a terrible choice
It's honestly not. Boxing gets a lot of flak in this day in age but it has lasted as a sport and a viable fight style because it's one of the best styles overall especially if your just talking about having to defend yourself in the street. Thought I also practiced Muay thai. -
What about boxing makes it easier to overcome size and weight disadvantage than krava maga or judo?

Don't know alot about kava Maga but from what I hear it's not even a real martial arts. Just that you go for someone weak spot in eyes ? etc.And why would you want to use judo against someone who has a size and weight advantage over you when the whole style is mainly about throws and straight up taking a person down to the matt. Sure in an organized tournament there is way more technical skill and anyone who is at an advanced level would easily be able to return your average street fighter but that goes for any martial arts. Boxing overall is a surprising ly easy style to pick up and as you reach higher levels it gets more complex. If you go to any gym in your area and your trainer is worth a damn within two months you should easily be able to have and understand of footwork dodging Bob and weave how to guard how to throw a punch correctly and how to counterattack.

Even if someone's bigger then you it doesn't mean ? if for ever one punch he throws you can easily dip under and tag him twice
