Let's say I wanted to set fire to a school. Burn everyone down. But everyone caught wind of it and my plan turned to ? . Now let's say in the time the media and police took to foil my dastardly deeds, a friend robbed the federal reserve with no repercussions.

Maybe because sports is more important to people especially during the playoffs. I think things like Net Neutrality isn't being buried. It could also be because that is a California issue which doesn't resonate nationally. I never even heard about the Bryan Singer thing and that sounds like a juicy enough issue for the media to focus on. I'm sure it will blow up once names are named. The media doesn't exactly cover for Hollywood.
