The goal of the game is to make the best label possible, I auction artist and players will bid on them. Each participant will start with a budget of $300 million for their label, spend your money wisely. Players must come up with a name before starting. Players must have 1 album release from any of their artist and 1 group album. Track listings as well as album covers must be made for album releases. Players MUST use original song titles in tracklist and original album titles. If you need help making covers, use the tutorial link above that @sion provided. Labels will be evaluated on the following criteria: future sales, future critical acclaim, longevity, album covers/tracklist, and cohesion.
VOTING
All tournament matches except for the Finals will be best of 5. Finals will be Best of 7. Judges must give reasons why they chose a individual's label.

RULES
No retracting bids. If you don't participate for an extended period, your label will be auctioned off. During bidding, you can get a refund for an artist you want for 50% money back. You may do this 3 times. No overbidding, for ex. No bidding 100 Mill on a artist straight from the jump. Building your way up to 100 Mill is fine but bidding that high from the start is unacceptable. If overbidding occurs I will shut down the game and continue at another time.
Trades and money offers are allowed via PM. Host must be included. Both labels must agree with trade in a PM. Once I see that both labels agree to a trade via, I'll approve it.
1 Mill is the the minimum, can't bid lower than that.
Can not have more than 20 artist on your labels. Once you sign 20 artist, you won't be able to get anymore.
Trolling or attempts to derail thread will get you kicked out the game.

News Additions: Rep Your Coast! (East, West, Midwest, North, & the South)
Players will pick a Coast they want to represent. You'll get 50 extra points whenever you end up getting a artist from the Coast you represent. For ex. Getting tier 1 artist like Nas will get you 100 points. If you pick Nas up and you're representing the East, you'll get 150 points.

Players can give ONE artist on their roster a label. Only tier 1 & 2 artist can have their own label. Once you give a artist a label, you will have to come up with a original name for the label. You will now be doing business from the artist point of view. Artist can be signed to your main label or artist label.
Power Rankings: Labels will be ranked, rankings will be updated based on work labels put in. Points system will be a factor. All labels will be rewarded but rewards will be based on where you are ranked.
PM Mystery Bidding: During Pm bidding, labels will not know how much/what is being offered and the best offer will win.
Mystery Artist: I'll post up a picture of a question mark. Players will not know what they are bidding on until I yell sold and reveal who the artist is.

Players will get -
100 points for picking up a tier 1 artist.
75 points for picking up a tier 2 artist.
50 points for picking up a producer.
25 points for picking up a tier 3 artist.
10 points for picking up a tier 4 artist
50 extra points for picking up a artist that is from the coast you represent.

2 round draft (At the end of the auction)
Points will determine order in draft
Round 1 (low to high): WHEN AUCTIONS ARE DONE AND THERE ARE STILL ARTISTS LEFT OVER THAT YOU WANT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PICK 5 OF THEM UP FOR FREE (credit to @Ibex). Points will not be given.
Round 2 (high to low). Players can use their remaining money to pick up artist for 10 mill each (credit to @Ibex). Points will not be given.

TIERS
Artists will be categorized into 4 tiers based on their status in the music industry.
For example:
Jay Z, Drake, Nas, = Tier 1 (Tier 1 artist usually go for 150 M)
J. Cole, Wale, A$AP Rocky = Tier 2 (Tier 2 artist usually go for 70 M)
Chance the Rapper, ASAP Ferg, = Tier 3
Cyhi the Prince, Mike G = Tier 4
*Tiers will NOT be auctioned in order

I'm about to put y'all down. It's been a while but we back. just been real busy and all but I ain't forget. I was planning to start it next month but props to @sion & @icebergtaylor for hitting me up to get it started now.
Anyway, hope we get some new rookies like the last game. Rep Your Coast is a new addition. A lot of strategy can be used to give you some advantages. There are artist out there that are versatile and can look good repping other coast. May the best Coast AND Label win.
I had to hit y'all up for this to see if y'all want to judge again.

@ibex You can bid on any artist you want, Rep Your Coast was just added to provide a new challenge for y'all.
It's the same with Drake and Riri, you just have to worry about how cohesive they will look on your roster just like you would do with any other artist you're about to sign. if well though out strategies are used, some dope rosters can be made from this addition. Overall, the main goal is to still have your roster as cohesive as possible. It wouldn't hurt getting artist that are not from your region as long as they don't hurt your cohesion.
For ex. J. Cole is a versatile artist when it comes to the coastal addition. He's from the South but he won't look bad on a Label that Reps the East and has Jay Z and 50 Cent on it. His music is East Coast influenced so it would be cohesive. Actually more cohesive than a label that reps the south and has 2chainz, Migos, & Gucci mane on it.
Tyga is from the West but is versatile in that he can be on a label that reps the south and has Lil Wayne and on it.

Oh ok my bad I just seen the new addition rule. That's dope so we get 50 points if we get a label from that same coast. Ok I think I'll go with the West Coast.
@sion yeah, 50 extra points. If you sign Ye to your Mid West label (just a ex.), you'll get 150 points instead of 100.

Trust me bro, you can still have a mix of coast. Just have to use a little more strategy. Also, you won't get penalized for getting artist from other coast. It's just something added for fun, as long as your roster is cohesive..you'll be good. -

I had Jeezy on my label surrounded by a sub label made up of up and coming West Coast artist who he went well together with.

@nillerthekid yeah, if a label from the East signs Lloyd Banks, he/she will get 60 points. If a label from the West signs him, he/she won't get the 50 points will just get 10 points for the signing.
