Absolutely nothing sad at all about having hall of fame careers and being considered top 5-10 at their positions of all-time. -

......but rings though....I don't care how much their career go.....every nba players dream is to win that ring

Is Gary Payton known for being one of the greatest point guards ever or for his ring he won in Miami? If Kevin Garnett never got that ring in Boston would his career be sad? Would you rather have Dominique Wilkins career or Juwan Howard's ? I would hope the goals of a player would be to be the best player that they could possibly be and to have a long legendary career. If a ring comes along with it then that's extra. I'll take a hall of fame career over a ring every time. -
We talking about the same James Harden who disappeared in the 2012 finals?

For the 100th time...since when can a THIRD option "disappear"?
When u got STARS, a 3rd option is gravy.
Do you remember what Toni Kukoc did in the playoffs? How bout Horace?
Bosh scored ZERO in game 7 last year. No one remembers. If OKC loses, no one will say 'damn what was Reggie Jackson doin?'
And Harden was 22 yrs old. Its a marathon, not a sprint. KD, RW, and Harden coulda been murderers row, like what Miami is now, if OKC was patient. Period. -
Dudes forget the salary cap rises by like 5 mill i think...

Really long winded article, but what i gathered from it is this:
'Given all the facts avail at the time, Okc wasnt in the wrong for making the decision at the time , but in hindsight it was the wrong move.'
People can hype up Ibaka and defense all they want, and it sounds really noble and old-fashioned, but Talent-reigns-supreme.
No one mentions that the Spurs are no longer the defesnsive minded squad they were 10 yrs ago. They go out and score. -
lmao @ trying to make the dead serious case that OKC is better off without a beast like Harden
-
Hmmmmmm
-
Well,well...Funny thing is i aint even watchin the game, i just saw a notification for this thread and already knew lmao

Pao Gasol would be a great move. A seemingly easy one to make...last year i thought they shoulda went for Paul Milsap.
BUT...They been shufflin their feet holdin onto that "we're young!" card -
Lowry in OKC would actually be a good look
-
Fire brooks.....that will solve a problem
-
Fire Brooks, sign pau, amnesty perk
Actually play lamb and perry Jones

So they would've made it out the west, only to get beat by Miami
& I hate Miami -
OKC got nex... well there's always next year

I think they'd take that at this point. Beggars cant be choosers. -
Okc should have kept harden and trade ibaka......I would take hardens scoring anyday......see how much stresss durant and westbrook face when your bench only scores 5 points
-
Okc shoulda played and develop ed Perry Jones lamb and Adams more. I seen them contribute in win vs mis this year. Brooks got stubborn and it cost him
