I'm going to do a seperate thread for worst comic castings so leave that discussion for later.
Robert Downey Jr. As Tony Stark
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury (they remodeled the character in his likeness before he even accepted the role so yes, this counts)
Patrick Stewart as Professor X
Chris Evans as Captain America
Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow
These choices were just pure brilliance. I also liked the idea of Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern but they ? up the script. They guy who played Commissioner Gordon is TDK series was perfect too.

Halle as Storm

Halle as Storm
Halle my ? but she is near terrible in every appearance as Storm. Not all her fault, though. They turned a powerful captain into some wig wearin' afterthought.
-
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian. Couldn't have found a better suited actor if they'd created an actor from scratch
-
Wesley Snipes - BLADE
-
Henry Cavill as Superman and Christian Bale as Batman on paper because they were always my personal choices for the role long before actually being cast. I say on paper because I don't think they lived up to the potential of the casting for the most part but that wasn't really their fault either it's the material they were given to work with.
Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger as The Joker
Michael Fassbender as Magneto
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Christopher Reeve as Superman
Michael Keaton as Batman
Wesley Snipes as Blade
Chris Evans as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman
Danny DeVito as The Penguin
Hugo Weaving as V
Those were all truly inspired. -
i'll go with the obvious answer

I always though a younger vivica fox or angela basset would have been perfect for that role. even a young grace jones. when I was six yrs old looking over my brothers shoulder reading comics I used to thing storm was grace jones because of the Mohawk. -

man pfiefer was sexy as catwoman so is the new chick from dark knight rises her name slips me at the moment.
Michael chiklis as the thing.
also I think ben afleck and Collin ferrel played a good daredevil/bullseye even though it was a mediocre movie. honorable mention goes to Michael Clarke Duncan as the kingpin. -
Ron Pearlman as Hellboy
-
Mickey Rourke as Marv
Rosario Dawson as Gail -

I thought willem dafoe was good as Green Goblin. He's pretty good at that crazy ? .

I would not be mad at all if they brought him back for the reboot. It's like he was genetically engineered to grow up looking like Jameson.
Chris Evans as Johnny Storm was meh. They could've gotten any wise cracking white guy to play the Torch. Give Ryan Reynolds a blonde top and he would've done just as well. -
Josh Brolin in MIB3
-
Cillian Murphy as the Scarecrow. Epic.
-
Henry Cavill was a good Superman but Man Of Steel was ass cheeks.
-
-
Even Hit Girl was great because realistically she should be a bit older.
-
Tom Hiddleson as Loki
Liam Neeson as Ras
Dean Cain as Superman -
I was initially ? that Hollywood whitewashed Bane but I think Tom Hardy did a good job.
-
I know everyone hates the movie but Uma Thurman was a good Poison Ivy.
-
Loki might be more popular than Thor
-
Russell Crowe as Zor El
