What Does A "Real" Christian Look Like?

Is it the strong individual who loves their community and family, using the Bible as a guide for moral behavior and not freighting over the unknown or adversity because their Lord will undoubtedly make a way for them to succeed? The person who does not get bogged down in the intricacies of religious debate, and only truly cares about what happens on a daily basis and how to live a life that will result in eternal salvation? The Christian Lurker

Or is it the person who studies, but never doubts, their religious history and ideology, acknowledging fully what it all entails, and decides that they will adapt it into every aspect of their life? The person who makes no apologies for how the application of their faith may hurt or inconvenience anyone, even their own friends and community because their Lord is more important than anyone, including themselves?     Can't really put a label on how a real Christian looks like or how they live their life on a day to day basic. Everyone has their own understanding of the bible and how they think ? wants us to live.

    A Christian is a person who believes in the person and work of Christ Jesus and the purpose it serves in the lives of everybody...and what it suppose to look like is somebody who strives to be thankful for the life that was given; that understands the depraved nature of sin and how it still affects them (and others), and learning to trust (or have faith) when everything in them wants to doubt the promises of ? through Christ.

    1 Everybody doesn't say the same thing thanks to translations.

    2 I'm not debating that their isn't a clear set of guidelines just that everyone interprets it differently.

    Who's pointing to any Christian being fake. No one on here for sure

    They do it all the time. Let a non-Christian bring up a Catholic ? or a slave owner preacher or a genocidal Religious freak and they'll say "Oh no they weren't REALLY Christians".

    The show Black Jesus is probably the most accurate representation of what Yeshua was like, albeit the time and place being different, and most Christians are calling it blasphemy because they have an unrealistic view of what their idol should be.

    ? was used as a weapon of war in the Bible ? 's wars against the native people of Judah and Samarrah. The Bible ? gave his followers rules and regulations on the taking of women and slavery in general. Genocide was actively supported by the Bible ? , shall I post the passages?

    The Bible ? supports ? , murder, and genocide and is therefore a very evil being (thankfully the Bible ? isn't real anyway). It's these kind of passages that spurred on Columbus and many other evil Christians throughout history. Did you enjoy the read Jackal....? There are much more Bible passages that quote the Bible ? itself on its support for ? , slavery and genocide. No wonder American slave owners loved the Bible so much!

    You know damn well what happened to women captured in war back in those days. The Bible ? said itself that women and other spoils of war may be kept and enjoyed. Take a hint what that means. And the Bible ? also supported slavery, you know what forced labor means right lol. But for fun I'll post this up anyway. It details on how to kidnap a woman to become a wife and even the rules on giving her her freedom.

    LOL ok if you say so. SMH at you supporting the kidnapping of women. What about all the slavery the Bible ? supported? Forced labor means forcing someone to do work for you, and considering women were forced into labor too obviously, ? knows what they were forced to do. Maybe forced to give a ? ? The Bible ? without question supports slavery and we all know what comes with slavery.....
