Think of it like a Fashion House right?

so in a large Fashion House you'd have your design director and then your additional designers as well as your interns and so on right?

in the same vein ... you have your coaching staff ...think of the coaching staff as your "design team" the head coach would be your design director ... then for each position on the field or "department" you have a specific set of coaches or "designers"

it helps delegate responsibility so that one area on the team wont get neglected since a coach is only one man and cant watch over every single player at all times
Okay what is the point of the center? Why hike the ball?
Do you have to hike the ball?

The "Center" position is a part of a group called the offensive line .. you can usually distinguish these gentelmen by their large size and protruding guts .... as illustrated below

    oline022710jpg-4c111b42206dc000_large.jpg\

you see that the guy in the middle? ... he would usually be called the "center" as he is in the center of the offensive line...

the point of "hiking" or "snapping" the ball is to initiate a play... a play can not happen until the ball is snapped ... there's two ways you will see a ball snapped .. one way is when the QB gets behind the center NH... reaches between his legs ... NH .... and takes the ball from the center as he "hikes" into his hands.. the other way is when you see the Quarter Back stand a few steps behind the center and the center hikes the ball to him like a baby getting shot out during a delivery

Now its important that the center and the QB are on the same page during this exchange or else you'll have potential for miscommunication .... and you dont want that ... if you have miscommunication you'll look like Tony Romo

    Romoballs2.gif

Tony Romo is the devil ..... you dont want to be the devil do you?

There are a lot coaches because there are a lot of positions.

The center helps protect the quarterback and calls out protections.

The center snaps the ball to start the play.

A zone defense is a scheme designed to defend space.

The purpose of plays is strategy. Coordinators purposely draw up plays to trick the defense or create mismatches on the field. Yes, a guy can just run the ball, but the guy would have more success getting yardage if he had a blocker in front of him or the quarterback faked out the defense to have the defense flowing in one direction and then pitched the ball to the running back in an area of open space. You're in fashion right? You could just throw some clothes on a model and say , "hear ? go sell my ? ." Or you could come up with a business plan, work up some advertising etc.

it all comes down to strategy.

A zone defense is used kinda like when a ? tryna holler at a female but he need a "wingman" to help him finish the job you feel me...

Ideally.. you would love it if every guy you have on defense could stop the offensive guy from running it in for a touchdown ... But some of these ? ass ? don't deserve an nfl jersey with their name on the back any more than I do.. So they need "help" ...that's essentially what the concept of zone boils down to

..instead of a defender trying to stop a guy on offense by himself ..the defense will use a "wingman" approach and try to conquer the offensive guy together...NH

For example ...look at this right here

    randy-moss-2-0-o.gif

You see number 31 tryna stop 84 from catchin the ball? ? look dazed and confused dont he? ..pathetic right? He got no ? chance stopping that ? ..just like a lame ass ? got no chance going to a group of females and fighting thru them damn piranha ass brawds to bag the one he wants ..so he brings his "wingmen" along to take off some of the pressure ..digg it?

Now look here at how much better they BOTH stop the offensive player from catching the ball while the defense is using a zone concept

    85354-Wes-Welker-sandwich-gif-Colts-AijO.gif

    BANG.... "YOU GET THE NUMBER!"

    Which of course means...

    wingman-of-the-year-75719.jpg

Football used to be a one "system" thing, meaning everybody played both side of the ball...but it was tiresome and alot more injuries (from being tired and not in condition).

The 2-platoon system is used now, meaning most only play one side of the ball, and now those positions have become increasing specialized so each coach is supposedly an specialist for whatever position or group (offensive line, defensive line, wide receivers, tight ends ..etc.)

The center is the "QB" of the offensive line....he the guard who job is to make sure he direct your whole offensive line in keeping the actual quarterback safe. He calls out his line to watch for the "stunts", "blitz" or zone of the defensive line for a QB who not experienced enough yet to do so (the Peytons, Brees are some of the exceptions) .

The ball always from the very beginning of football always was hiked. It just one of those "it is what it is" rules.

Now I humbly ask could you kindly let your aureoles help a deaf ? 's ears hear ?..............................
