Because Scandal is over dramatized political non sense that had a spark when it started but now its just garbage. Especially compared to political dramas like House of Cards or a throwback like The West Wing.
I'll give HTGAWM a chance just because of Viola Davis but the title of the show makes me think even if it's decent in the beginning it will get ridiculous sooner or later. But we'll see. -

problem that scandal suffered from besides the fact that two white men are sharing a black woman is that it has 7 storylines that are being process all at once within one episode
Olivia's love triangle
Huck's being a sociopath with issues
the old head ? white house member being on the down low
Olivia's issues with her parents
mama pope being part of a terrorist organization
the white house dilema
internal problems with the employees of olivias firm
olivia's dad just being an ? -
I just finished it. It's kinda like Suits meets House. You got a grumpy authority figure that belittles their subordinates, people banging each other and people dying of course. It seems promising.
Primetime tv getting bold, had Viola Davis getting her box ate on the desk, and on a gross note had a dude getting hit from the back. That ? wasn't necessary, just tryna push that agenda. And they had to have Viola married to a white man, her side ? was black tho.
Ima keep checking for it, it's alright. 7/10 -

Yes it does become overwhelming at times because of all the issues but it does make for great story lines for the characters and even better cliffhangers at the end -

Scandal was great, the characters shown great development while still remaining true to their identities. Believe we will have another good season.
H2GAWM: viola of course is brilliant....nice plot...characters ok so it's worth the watch -

Harrison(Columbus Short) found out that Olivia's dad was the person that was involved in the death of the presidents son and he was also being used because his old girl knew where mama pope was.And his girl was killed by daddy pope and I guess the fact that he knew too much sorta set him up for his demise
