I love this topic.
People have been trained to have this perception that women should have sex with only one man, which is her husband; however, men should sow their wild oats, so they can settle down with one one woman.
Also, another point is: reproduction. The more a woman have sex with multiple men without the use of BC (birth control) or condoms, then she has a higher chance to getting pregnant by multiple men.
My last point is: The Male Ego. Stereotypically, a man does not want to be associated with a woman who has over 3 sexual partners; however, in modern times, the number has been increased to 7. He does not want his woman to be an sexual expert because he wants her to learn from him.
Personally, I do not care how many partners a person has had in their past before me. I just want to know their STI status for health purposes.

Many men feel as though women should be wholesome and when the thought of any other men blowing their women's back out is a shot to their egos.
I don't advocate wifing or starting a future with boppers but any man that doesn't acknowledge a woman possibly having a past is a highly naive man.
