Why you showing me clips of Rodman having great offensive games like Kwame Brown ain't have a 30pt/19rebound game before??? ? are bound to catch on fire a few games out of an entire career, but that doesn't mean much outside of just that; they were a few good games.

In basketball, consistency is key & there just isn't enough excuses in the world to justify a man averaging 7ppg for his career while claiming he could score. How many years was he in the league before he United (no pun) with Jordan? And what was his career ppg before becoming a Bull? Oh Jordan affected his career on the Pistons huh??

    Cut it out...

This is making me seem like a Rodman hater or something but I'm not. I'd appreciate it if we could stop copping excuses for 7ppg and just move the discussion along....

? that Pistons team was loaded with scorers why would they need Rodman to score when he loved doing to "? work" and was best in the league at doing it....

By the time he went to the Spurs and Bulls he was already a 2x DPOY and the best rebounder in the league, any team that wanted him wasn't looking for scoring and he wasn't looking to score himself...

All that matters he is still better than Horace Grant and that's a fact... 5more ppg Grant avg doesn't override everything else Rodman did better than him...

My question being avoided like the plague.

Swap Grant for Rodman in 96. Do they win 3 more rings or nah?

Nope, Rodman has a legit argument for Finals MVP in '96..

Those 11 offensive rebounds in a half was unreal in 96. He literally kept offensive poessions alive when Mike was struggling on O.

? college gotta do with the b professional careers we discussing??

Rodman is HOF because he is top 10 GOAT in defense, as I've clearly admitted to earlier. Anybody top 10 in a category belongs in the HOF. Isn't that unwritten rule why Stockton made it? Cracka's whole career was a double double and even tho 13ppg ain't really nothing to parade over, them 10+ assists every damn game was.

Back to Rodman though. You still getting to argue dudes scoring ability when he averaged 7ppg. Stop it 5.

I respect Rodman's game & I'm thankful he served as a Bull. None of this changes my opinions or the fact that family averaged 7 POINTS PER GAME.

Perhaps you should go back and check Rodman out. Dude could score, he just didn't have to with Jordan and Pipp on the team. His role was to play defense and grab boards..check his years out in Detroit..

Horace Grant a better overall player than Rodman????? naaaaahhhhhhhh Rodman would locked Horace Grant up and have a 5pt/25 rebound game against him. Now if he actually tried to score on those many offensive boards he grabbed, we're talking about potential to throw up anywhere from 10 - 20 pts with 10 - 20 rebounds. Dennis just played his role in the Chi, which is one of the reasons why the 96 team was a better squad

Horace was so underrated but I definitely take Dennis over him because he was a defensive specialist that know his role & didn't need to be avoid in the scoring that much

But low key I like the '92 team personally for the fact that they still was playing at Chicago Stadium & they still have something to prove to the A that they're the elite team to beat

So yall ? finna just make me feel infantile as hell in this ? ?? I never got to experience the Chicago Stadium...

But back to the point. Can someone please tell me what sense it makes for Rodman to have a high-percentage look around the basket but chooses to dish it out instead of taking it? I asked this before but it was ducked. You guys are literally saying HE COULDA SCORED MORE IF HE WANTED!! Which I can somewhat understand the theory given his college years but yall straight up saying he had open looks after the rebound & kicks it out, presumably to "stick to his role as a defensive specialist." What sense does that make??? What if Shaq was like ayo ima just send ? ? if they drive it in & grab boards but ima defer no matter how high quality of a shot I might have. ? makes no sense & until someone provides an explanation ima just assume yall coppin pleas for no-O Rodman

Not every offensive rebound Rodman got was right under the basket.

Long shots more often than not equal long rebounds. If Rodman grabs an offensive rebound 10-15 feet away from the basket, he's gonna dish it out.

Also he got fouled a lot after the rebound, and you know he wasnt great at the line. You're assuming every time you get an offensive rebound it should be an automatic 2 pts.

    Watch this.

And yours matters lol ? are sheep you got lame ass down south Leroy Brown ass ? that just regurgitates anything he reads and passes it off as his own opinions while constantly trying to start ? with me all because I'm just an all around better/respected poster

And now you sitting up with the meaningless post trying to join the popular opinion of Rodman >>> Grant which is kinda wack because you didn't even add anything to the discussion.

At least I have opinions. Yall wack posters keep riding the wave ima keep doing my own thing. Shoutout to the fan club!

I didn't know it was a thread about this. 96' Bulls is the GOAT NBA team.

Lol at that ? saying the 96 Bulls is a top 15-20 all time team. That ? is dumb af.

Kukoc is better than anybody on the 92' team & he coming out the bench. 96' bench was more proper with the 1996 6th man of the year, coming off the bench. What's funny tho is that Kukoc was drafted by Chicago in 92 but he was still playing in Croatia in 92'.

Horace was a solid power forward but Rodman was better & his stamina was impeccable. ? use to go party all night then come right to work for another 48 minutes. Also, Rodman was capable of being a scorer but he chose to committ his passion to defense & hustling. Imo my favorite rebounder & hustle player of all time. Oh yea the Bulls swept the Magic in 96 with the GOAT doing the ball fake on Greg Kite (I think it was Greg Kite). Also they almost swept a great defensive team Supersonics team but almost don't count. But that goes to show you how the 96 Bulls is the GOAT team with the GOAT player

In 95 when Jordan lost to the Magic, he said in the locker room interview, something like "yeah we lost, its iight, its cool, we coming back next year, and we gon win it all."

    chills.

The bulls were mad 95-96 season. I do remember that the Cavs were one of the 10 teams to beat them tho.

damn im old. i was 20 in 96.

you, guy giving me a "wack." you werent even BORN!
