Cam Newton involved in car crash near Panthers' practice facility

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was involved in a car crash late Tuesday morning in uptown Charlotte, N.C.
The crash occurred just a few short blocks from the Panthers' practice facility. Newton's black pickup truck was overturned as a result of the crash.
According to witnesses at the scene, Newton's truck flipped at least three times in the crash.
The Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police Department confirmed that Newton was the driver of the pickup truck and that he was able to communicate following the collision.
Newton was placed onto a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance. The severity of his injury is still unknown. We will continue to update as information becomes available.

I just read an article on Huffington Post about this they said Cam got 2 lower back fractures!!!

Normally I would say shut him down but since that garbage division is still winnable for the Panthers they might as well throw him out there if he's capable of playing
