Why are we as Black People still looking for someone to hold our hand ? Here is A list of people who either held our hand or gave up their life to move us forward. If someone needs to know what they said or did, there are tons of books to tell you all about them. No wonder these so called Black Celebrity's don't wanna say anything. I believe that they believe that Black People are still looking for someone to hold their hand. I picked ten people from the list to follow, to see how far in life I should be just from their Teachings, Lessons & Inspirations, and I Should be much further in life then I am. I made my struggle harder by not doing what I supposed to have done earlier in life. This is why we need to stop with this someone should speak-out or hold my hand ? , We can make our conditions better, but we choose not too.

Regarding Nicki Minaj, it seems like she's trying to cater to the black fan base again. I guess after American Idol got rid of her, she sees that the white culture will never fully embrace her like she hoped.
She can contribute mightily to the black culture if she stops leading our young girls into ? lifestyles like she's been doing since her debut. She's ? up a lot of black marriages and their children.

How far would the civil rights movement have gone if blacks were afraid of the "backlash"/fatal consequences for speaking out against evil?
Here's the reality: It's easier to "speak out" against your own race, than to risk drawing the wrath of Republicans, and possibly lose endorsements. Remember she also rapped that she'd vote for Romney because the President was "? up the economy". The most ignorant thing she's ever said... But again, appease Republicans, and they won't come after you. She's got no problem doing that. -
The real question is why would anyone even ask this chick a question like that. Look at her body of work and her public persona and tell me if she's someone you'd even want to try tackling issues. Who goes to the circus to ask a clown what he thinks about current events?
