To all of yall that played this, do you think this game is gonna have longevity or is it gonna be another walking simulator like Evolve and die within the first month?

It's too easy for the survivors, they are going to need to change some things because it's too feast or famine for Jason

yeah...I'm definitely gonna have to cop this. sooner or later, no way around it...
I know this was a beta version, but the hit detection was off in a number of scenes...I know it's a game and all, but if Jason swings on u with a machete in close proximity, it should never take more than 2-3 swings for someone to drop...at least 2 of those kills involved like 4-5 swings. no bueno, hoping that's addressed in the final build.
the lighting was BEAUTIFUL...there's a couple of instances where Jason's in the woods, and they show him captured in moonlight...? was DOPE.
I also like how he looks in Crystal Lake itself...hoping there's some coo kills in the water in the final version
after watching both points of view play out, I really don't even see why anyone would wanna willingly play as a counselor...from what I've seen, the majority of the time, Imma be playin as Jason.

hasn't been released yet, the vids in the thread are all from the beta...actually releasing in Spring 2017.
with that said, this game was truly made for the fans of the franchise...don't believe me, lookit their website. animations, weapons, masks, movie trivia, etc. and seeing that it's been funded by Kickstarter and Backerkit, it doesn't have to move huge numbers to make a profit...hoping for longevity tho.
I can see it becoming something all Jason stans feel like they have to own, like the Crystal Lake Memories and His Name Was Jason docs...works for me.

it was supposed to be sometime March '17, according to the website it's been changed to Full Release "Early 2017" -

You could either torment camp counselors as Jason or evade him as the camp counselors like in the old NES game. -

One player is Jason and the rest are players, they try to escape the map and Jason tries to ? them all to win -

Man you cant out run him. Its best to stay in pairs so that if he does run up your potna can get you out a choke hold

I learned to just get good as juking through houses and only Using the Stealthy counselors for now like AJ and Deborah.
With my current Perks of Sense Avoidance, More Stamina, Fear Resistance I'm barely noticed. Had a Jason walk right up a cabin door and not see me inside.
I tried using the Dudes but they so clumsy jason always catches me
But yea I try and stay in groups of 2 no more than 3 -
I have to join games through groups because it doesn't quick start.
