You're a NFL player playing on one of the Super Bowl teams. You've been waiting for this moment all your life.....
Your wife/girlfriend is pregnant and is about to go into labor at any moment now. You passing on the game to be with your significant other or you'll holla at the kiddo in a few hours?
Hypothetically you're the Richard Sherman of the Seahawks(this is sorta his predicament in real life). So that means you're a significant player on the team.
Ladies, what would you want your husband/boyfriend to do? Be with you or let him play?

My significant other would want me to play. Period.
Now I might "go through the motion" of saying I'll skip the game, but we both know what time it is. -
Having the baby a couple of days early is also an option. Win win.

i mean technically, i cant do ? but stand there and watch while she does all the work anyway..........
and nobody knows when its gonna happen unless she's going to be induced on that very day....so he could stay home and she still dont have it for another week.....i'd be ?
at the same time thats his first and u cant get that moment back smh
me personally i would stay home, but i cant be mad at him if he didnt....not at all

yea go and ball...i was the hospital a whole ? day waiting for the baby to drop

you can but it can still take hours and hours for the baby to come....especially if it's the woman's 1st child
they induced my wife at 7am my daughter wasn't born til 930pm

I don't think their baby is actually due that day so I imagine it's slim but I'm sure it could happen. He said if it were to happen they had plans for it, whatever they may be.
I couldn't imagine somebody in his position would miss the game, #1 it's not even his wife, it's his gf. #2 he's one of the biggest trash talkers in the game and u gonna bail in the biggest game? lol jk
Personally there wouldn't be a chance in the world I'd miss the game. Baby would have the coolest birth story ever so he'd be aight. Baby mom's will be fine once she sees that extra check for playing in the SB. -
Sherman should request for a live feed of the delivery room on the jumbotron.

Football careers are short and he can get injured and never have that opportunity again. he needs to make the most of it. -
