It was all memorization. I'd skip school to smoke weed then copy everything from the textbook on paper over and over... Absentee for most of the year but parents can't say ? , straight As. -

High school at it's lowest requirement for graduation is damn near remedial
I graduated high as ? , went to class rolling, and even smoked blunts physically in the school
But I never did AP physics or AP chem
I did chem 11, did poorly, and decided not to take it in grade 12
did bio 11, did well, but did poorly in bio 12
High school isn't a joke for everyone
I'm sure @Kai had a course load that would have made your arts major ass cry -

People are ? . Save yourself a couple hundred, tell him to get his grades up, get active in his homework and lessons and push him towards better productivity. Why everybody nowadays need recognition and need commendation for what you should already be doing? -

High School is about how good your memory is more than actually learning....I got an A+ in US History my junior year and I slept in class 90% of the time. -

I think it's outside things that affect grades but as far as the work, you are dumb as hell if it was hard to you.

My dad used to beat me for getting C+ and B- in school. I got straight As after that. I only got good grades because I didn't want to get beat.
That ? didn't help me. Some ? are just hard headed.. I didn't really start gettin my ? together until I became an adult and realized I would have to be able to take care of myself eventually. Maybe my parents should have tried a different approach. My son is hard headed at 3 years old so I know he'll probably have the same problem. -
