My cousin was like that until my mom bought him a pair of Shaqs and 1 outfit from the salvation army. She took all of his jordans and fresh gear. And sat in his class for 2 whole weeks to make sure he he wore the outfit and sneaks that he bought.

i unno, i just know when i ? up in school, my mom went ham on me, but it was a personable thing it wasn't a spectacle for anyone else..it was between me and her and us alone...she wanted to get to the bottom of what was going on, and came directly at my throat to get to it....
this chick set up a camera for the world to see and instead of finding the origin of hi issues, she decided to humiliate and shame the kid.....

I had similar feelings while watching. To me, it seemed like she had some sort of resentment towards that child. She's overstepping her bounds as a step-parent. Who records themselves humiliating someone else's child. It's bad enough for biological parents to do it. If that were my son, she would catch these hands.

humiliation leads to resent, and resent is not how you get through to a teenager......
resent will pus them further away....
you want to hold a child accountable help them build responsibility, and feel pride in their actions..

The problem is a ton of these kids today never have to experience consequences for their actions. They seek more validation/acceptance from their peers than they do from their parents. Whats the easiest way to break that ? ? Do something that has those same friends they look up to so much ridicule tf outta them.
So stuff like this, burning/ruining their nice name brand clothes/shoes gets a goat in my book. They dont respond to ? until you threaten their reputation -
