Better PLAYER (which doesn't require historical reference or stats): Steph
Better historically as of right now, CP3

Obviously Steph has far more to do and will add accolades, but again we cant assume. But on this pace no question

To my point above, (and on a sidenote Lebron vs Kobe)

Tony Parker has 4 rings. Isaiah Thomas has 2

Zeke is hands down better than TP historically.

So 1 ring doesn't automatically vault Steph over cp3. On this pace tho, yes

The 'rings >>>>>>>>>>' debate has been and will always be the argument of a dumb ? . It matters, but not nearly as much as dumb ? make it to be.

The 'better player' don't let his team blow a 3-1 lead in the playoffs. There's been multiple game 7 choke performances from CP0 in the playoffs before this. But if you wanna crown the ? for being the greatest regular season point guard in NBA history to never even make a conference Finals then by all means go head. The multiple playoffs failures is just gonna continue building right along with all the great regular season achievements.

steph is better than chris paul. he's a better shooter spotting up and off the dribble.

there were several times in the finals when bigs for golden state got an easy layup cuz steph was coming around a screen and both defenders hedged out on curry cuz of his jumpshot and the big slipped right to the basket for a layup

You used his one clear advantage and that makes him better ?

Steph is a better shooter than everybody, that's not enough

The facts are facts, what's the excuse for the great Chris Paul letting his team blow a 3-1 lead in the playoffs sir wise one? The Clippers just wasn't good enough?

steph is a sniper out there. his elite shooting causes nightmares for the defense. but he can also pass the ball as well.

then you can move him off the ball. the warriors run a lot of sets were you have klay and steph on the baseline both coming off screens in oppsosite directions. defenders don't know where to go.

most of the time when chris paul is off the ball its to set a down screen then he just stands in the corner

Smart ? argument: "The clippers did ____" "The clippers lost _______" "The clippers performed _____"

Dumb ? argument: "Chris Paul did ____" "Chris Paul lost _____" etc....

    figure it out bro

The series wasn't Chris Paul vs James Harden. It was Clippers vs Rockets.

You just used Klay and play calling to help Steph's case

no I used stephs versatility to help my case. you can run those plays for steph he is great at shooting off a screen. chris paul isn't. he's more of a set jump shooter.

im done with this tho steph is just a better player

Nah I dont think so. Not yet anyway.

CP3 has been kind of unlucky. His teams have never really been that good. Seriously, other than this year or possibly last when have you ever said "you know what the Hornets/Clippers are about to make a title run." Never.

His playoff averages are 20 and 10 the only player to do so. he does his part.

He's a better playmaker, rebounder and defender. You can't lose with either but Steph isn't far behind.

Man, ? all of that, ain't nobody trynna hear this weak ass ? . There's absolutely no excuse for Chris Paul in his time in LA with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. He ain't getting it done, plain and simple. Sitting up here making ? excuses for these ? choke artist blowing 3-1 leads and ? . FOH with that ? .

Change yo ? and pull yo skirt down.

    These are facts.
Chris Paul performed like he always does. Its other mfers on that team. You can't place the blame solely on him. Blake Griffin acts like he doesn't know how to play when the pressure is on. Jordan cant do ? outside of 2ft. Crawford is ineffecient. Any decent defender can stop JJ. Davis is non factor, Barnes never been a go to guy.

Yeah they choked, as a ? team. They arent the los angeles Chris Pauls

Excuses, excuses, ? wanted out of New Orleans for a better opportunity, get's to LA and it's the same exact ? with better core players who are younger than him.

Detcatinva smartest poster in the thread.

CP3 on the Warriors, we win no more than 52 games and might make it to the 2nd rd max.

Steph on the Clppers alongside BG and Deandre....nuff said../thread.

Stephen Curry being capable to average more than 22 points per game in the playoffs and carry the scoring load for his team is proof enough.

Steph is in a better system.

The Clippers just run pick and roll mainly.

With that said i have to see what happens next year before i make an official judgement....*shrugs*
